• The advanced Tetra BF Biological filter foam is designed to be used with the Tetra external filter EX 1200. The highly advanced biological foam provides a large surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria. These bacteria removes harmful substances e.g. ammonia and nitrite from the aquarium water. The foam also mechanically removes medium sized particles from the water.

• The advanced Tetra FF Fine filter fleece is designed to be used in the Tetra external filter EX 1200. The fine filter fleece removes fine particles from the aquarium water and should be placed as the last filter medium in the filter. The Tetra FF Fine filter fleece should be changed regularly every 4 to 8 weeks.
