Natural food for reptiles, including turtles and amphibians, obtained by freeze-drying chironomid larvae – insects from the Chironomidae family. Bloodworm, very willingly accepted by reptiles and amphibians, is a source of easily digestible protein. The lyophilization process eliminates dangerous pathogens that may be present in live larvae, while largely preserving the delicate vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, protein and other nutrients contained in fresh bloodworm.
